Joseph Rothenberg has been involved in animation since he and his best buddy Austin taught themselves to use The Games Factory and Flash at the age of twelve. Joseph is an animation major at the University of Southern California, where he spends all of his time laughing, drawing, and planning next year’s Animation in Video Games Camp. He has two awesome, super-cool nephews, and spends those rare moments when he isn’t thinking about cartoons chilling with the family, hanging out with a good book, or thinking about video games instead. He is the award-winning creator of the cartoons The Mr. Squirms Show and Sticky the Stick, and the Animation Camp cult-classic video games Run and Jump Fred and Rocket Guy.

Austin Tompkins (the best buddy of the world-renown Joseph Rothenberg) has very similar beginnings, struggling through useless manuals with his pal, learning the in's-and-out's of animation and The Games factory at a young age. Austin is an aspiring filmmaker / documentarian, and when not occupied by volunteer work in the community, is busy building up his Web Design business, playing the world's best collection of music, wakeboarding (come on summer!) and preparing for a 11,000+ mile drive to Alaska and back this August. (alaskaifitkillsme.com) Austin was one of five national winners in Paramount Pictures' Slusho! video commercial contest and proudly put together the new Animation Camp web site.
